धरती की बेटी, अग्नि में तपा सत्य, एक शाश्वत लीला
Begin with Narada’s pride, rise from the furrow of Mithila, walk through the forest of the golden deer, the grove of Ashoka, the fire of truth and the dry Falgu at Gaya, until Mother Earth opens her arms. Ten stations, ten paintings that become worlds, and a song theatre where every song dances in a different folk art.
Headphones recommended.
Seven shorts scored with your Sita Leela songs. In the player: zoom the camera in and out, drag to pan, switch the automatic camera off, change speed and volume, jump scenes, minimise to a floating player or go full screen.
All the artworks of the Sita Leela collection. Open one to view it flat, with 3D depth, in red-cyan or as a VR pair, and to hear its story.
Each stage of her life read through the PASSIONIT PRUTL KALKI AIDHARMA lens, with Maya Leela and STEAM & management parallels.
Open a strip to read it panel by panel. The camera glides from frame to frame; drag and zoom freely.
Step inside the paintings. Move left and right with the arrows, walk in with ▲, drag to look around. Walk far enough and you pass through a portal into the next scene, or press Journey to travel through all ten. Seven layers can be switched on or off: depth, sound, motion, touch (vibration on phones that allow it), wind, light and feeling.
Each song acts out its part of the Ramayana in its own Indian art form: Madhubani from Sita’s Mithila, Warli, Gond, Kolam, Pattachitra, Kalamkari and Pichhwai. The scenes follow the song from start to end and the characters dance, walk, fight and bless with the beat. Switch to “Paintings dance” to watch the artworks break into coloured particles, swirl to the song and settle into the next painting.
Seven miracles of Sita, each read through the PASSIONIT PRUTL KALKI AIDHARMA lens from the Sita Leela Miracles document, with a short Madhubani story you can play.
There is not one Ramayana but hundreds. Eighteen tellings from across India and Asia, each with the twist that makes it different and a short story played in a matching art form, from Warli and Madhubani to Thai gold lacquer and Javanese wayang shadow puppets.
The same story, staged in very different ways. Pick a tradition: its song plays and the episode unfolds scene by scene with the music, drawn in that tradition’s own look.
